After his A-levels, Daniel opted for a full-time Sports Science degree specialising in sports medicine. He also completed his doctorate in Mainz, as well as conducting research and teaching at the Johannes Gutenberg University.
“I’ve always wanted to make a career out of my passion for sport. And opting for a full-time degree course when I left school was, with hindsight, absolutely the right choice for me personally. Following my in-depth interest in the subject, I completed my doctorate and spent time in the academic world. I enjoyed it immensely and learned a lot. Now I feel it is time for me to put all this into practice, which is why I am really looking forward to assuming my new position as health manager at Strauss.“
